YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS, and it's completely worth the quick read. this was the best experience with a company I have EVER had! Ambition got the best of me, and I moved cabinets without consideration for the hole in my tile that it would (and did) leave behind. So, now, with a 2ft x 8ft subfloor hole in my kitchen, and after calling [that] tile company in Italy to learn they no longer made them, I had no where to turn. ENTER Goedecke. I brought a tile down and was met at the door (first of all), as I walked in, by Herb - the owner! Then showed him the tile and explained the situation: that I needed a few of them to fill a hole I created, but they're no longer manufactured. He said; "No worries, we have those on our floor". I thought. still for sale?. that's amazing! So he walked me over to them. They were on the floor alright. but. they were down, like installed, on their 'Display Floor' where people look/walk over. Now. 'wait for it'. Herb then offered and went through the process of REMOVING the tiles [I needed] up off of the ground, from their display floor, and gave them to me, so I wouldn't have to re-tile my entire entry, kitchen and bathroom. Tell me. what company or person that you've encountered has ever done something like that for you, especially for someone who just walked through their door. Thank you Herb, and your entire staff; if you're reading this at home and looking for a place to do business, absolutely look no further than Goedecke!
