Tom Noble Sr. establishes Noble Sales Co. Inc. in 1982 as a business focusing on selling chemical and other industrial products to institutional customers in the greater Boston area. The company operates out of the basement of the family home in Hanover, Massachusetts. Tom Sr. services customers and develops new business, while Rosemary Noble processes the invoices and pays the vendors. Tom Sr. always felt that "it was better to get a customer what they needed, instead of trying to sell them something that you had."
