Ductless mini-split HVAC systems provide an easy-to-install alternative to invasive, expensive ductwork. Because they're smaller, ductless systems draw much less energy than central HVAC systems. One of the biggest advantages of ductless HVAC systems is their built-in ability to "zone" a home. Zoning is simply heating/cooling different areas of your home differently. This indoor- and outdoor-unit pair come together to provide efficient, flexible heating and cooling to your home. In addition to being thermostat compatible, this ductless mini-split comes with a remote control for easy temperature adjustment.

Steve and Judy Ireland established Steve's Heating and Cooling in 1975. It has been our commitment to the community and to 100% customer satisfaction that has positioned us as one of the most distinguished companies in Northern Kentucky. Since our inception in 1975, we have installed and serviced thousands of comfort systems throughout the Northern Kentucky area. From the beginning, we have focused on offering only the best heating and cooling services in Northern KY. We provide quality installation, service, and replacement of heating and air conditioning comfort systems in single system homes, multiple system homes, multi-family dwellings, and commercial properties.

Many people have a thermostat that keeps their home at the same temperature day and night regardless of whether the house is empty or occupied. When you adjust your home's heating and cooling cycles to fit your schedule, you won't notice any difference in comfort, but you will notice a lower energy bill. Most smart and programmable thermostats even learn about your home's properties over time, allowing them to customize your system's performance to suit your home, saving you even more money. A cross between a smart and programmable thermostat, the ComfortLink II XL1050 is an HVAC command system.

When an air conditioner runs at full blast or stops completely, your home is subject to frequent peaks and valleys of heat and coolness. Not to mention all the money you waste. That's why we offer air conditioners with TruComfort variable speed technology, which changes the operating speed of the fan depending on the weather and the temperature outside-your air conditioner will never work harder than it needs to again. The XV18 Variable Speed Air Conditioner is an industry-leading system in both efficiency and comfort.

Steve's Heating and Cooling strives to improve the air quality in your home by offering HVAC maintenance and repairs for your furnace, AC unit, heat pump and more. These are just a few facts that show the importance of our Comfort Club. Just like a routine oil change on your vehicle, semi-annual or annual HVAC maintenance on your system will help keep your system running at peak performance. At Steve's, we go the extra mile for our customers, and as a Comfort Club member, we assure your comfort all year long.

When you use a geothermal HVAC system, you harness the energy and insulation of the Earth's crust to keep your home at the perfect temperature year-round. Geothermal energy can help you save up to 70% on your energy bills. What's more, tax credits are available in both Kentucky and Ohio for installing energy-efficient HVAC Sytems in your home. Your new unit will pay for itself in no time. Most HVAC systems are more expensive to run the more extreme the temperature is because your system has to work extra hard to get the temperatures to where they should be.

If you've ever felt like something was off with your HVAC system, air filtration and humidification is likely for you. Coincidentally, winter is also the time when indoor air is the driest. Dry air aggravates sinuses, cracks your skin, and can even damage your home and furniture. Our filtration and humidification systems work together with your HVAC system to keep your air clean and comfortable. Air filtration systems are great for people who live with smokers or who have severe allergies. But they're great for the rest of us, too.

When you want the most efficient heating at the lowest price, a furnace is your best option. Furnaces are much more dependable in the winter; you never need to worry if it's too cold to get heat from the air. What's more, furnaces last anywhere from 50-75% longer than heat pumps when both are properly maintained. The new S-series furnace cabinets are designed to fit perfectly in any home. Plus, they are certified to be airtight up to 1%, so you're not wasting money on leaky air. Steve's Heating and Cooling has been servicing heating and cooling systems in Northern Kentucky since 1975.

The best part? Heat pumps don't generate their own hot or cold air. They just pull hot or cold air from outside and bring it into your home, depending on the season. Kind of like a refrigerator that can be switched to reverse. For extremely cold winters, hybrid heat pumps are available that can generate heat using a built in gas furnace, ensuring you're never left stuck in the cold. Since heat pumps don't typically generate their own heat, they are much more efficient than other forms of electric heating, particularly electric-resistance heat (the kind found in electric furnaces and baseboard heaters).

Furnace, air conditioner, and heat pump units can become quite unpredictable as they age. Unfortunately, you never know when your home or business unit might go out of service. For that reason, Steve's Heating and Cooling proudly offers emergency HVAC repairs around the clock, every day of the year. Our HVAC technicians are on call and ready to go whenever you need them. Furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps don't run on a schedule, but we do! Steve's Heating and Cooling is proud to be your dependable and on-time service and repair specialists.

Steve’s replaced my H&C system in 2010. Since then, they have been my selected vendor for service. Their technicians are efficient and responsive to questions. The office staff is considerate and understanding of my needs related to scheduling. I give them my highest recommendation.

We have been using Steves Heating for over 20 years. They are available 24/7 for any issues that arise or for regular maintenance. Jeff is the best! He is caring, courteous and excellent at troubleshooting issues. And he is a really nice guy. I would highly recommend Jeff and Steves Heating

Steve’s Heating and Cooling does a very nice job. When we call them, they are prompt to answer. The service people are kind, courteous, and professional. We highly recommend.

Great service, friendly and professional staff, and reasonable rates! What more could you ask for from an HVAC Expert! Thanks for you quick response time! Everyone should consider Steve’s Summer/Winter Annual Check!

Great service, friendly professional employees.

Do your research! Steve's is more expensive that comparable companies! If you have them come out to your house, you will pay a $95 charge, plus they charged a $30 fee to complete a leak search. So before they fixed anything they charged me $125. Then, the cost for them to fix it was also higher than comparable companies. They also were very evasive when I kept asking the final cost if they fixed it based on their diagnosis. "well it depends on how much Freon it needs." Wait. isn't that what you're charging me $125 for? Luckily I ended up calling around for other opinions and found out that this was not normal service or costs! **I'm confused how they have a 5 star rating on Facebook. they have 2.5 star rating on yelp.

The service call seemed a little pricey but the technician was very good and helpful. I received some good advice. I'll continue to use them.

Timely, Professional and delivered a great understanding of the services that were going to be performed. Straight shooters with what I needed and what I could get for my buck. Spoke on Monday and had a game plan laid out the next day. Due to my schedule they made sure they could fit me in. Thank you guys! Recommend getting the system with mobile access.
