I called Southern Comfort after seeing great reviews on various websites. We were looking to replace our A/C. When I called to tell them this and told them the recommendation was based on another company after they found our compressor was bad, they said they could send someone the next day. When I confirmed my address and the time. I received a text message confirming the appointment. The following day, Tony arrived on time and came while another vendor was finishing up.

When he rang my doorbell, he indicated he had already talked to the vendor that had just left. "We know each other and he told me everything."

Tony asked to see the inside attic duct work and indicated that he could make sure it was the right size and properly functioning. Since we were replacing the unit with the same size 4 Ton and 16 SEER and we had other service people already look at it, I did not think that was needed.

I did tell him our unit was still under warranty and that it was 7 years old. He did not indicate that replacing the compressor was an option. He looked at the tag on the unit and said he would send an estimate. Their estimate was in the middle of the price quotes I received. My only suggestion to this company is to discuss HOW and WHAT they do when installing a unit and why I should hire them vs. someone else. I wasn't looking for a hard sales pitch, but there was nothing said to promote this company over another. He was gone in about 10 minutes.

We got great service from Luis and Cash yesterday. They were thorough, gave great explanations of what they found when they went through our whole AC system, they resolved the issue we called them about and I didn't feel like I was being upsold or that they offered any service I didn't need. And, my kitty loved Cash! They have earned my business!

Matthew came out to repair our air conditioning unit. He was polite and helpful. He quickly identified the problem and worked diligently in 100+ heat to make sure the problem was fixed, when he realized that it was a bigger problem than he initially expected, he ordered the parts and personally saw that the repairs were completed. Thank you for all your hard work.

I know nothing about A/C units or repair and they still took the time to walk me through what they found and actually showed me what was wrong and why they had to make certain repairs. I was really impressed they took the time to explain the whole process to me so I felt completely comfortable that the repairs were necessary. After a horrible experience with another company, we were very pleased with Southern Comfort. They seem very honest and charge thousands - yes, I mean thousands - on new units compared to some larger shops in the area. Southern Comfort was very informative, not pushy and gave us their recommendations
on what to do with a blown unit still under warranty. We waited a few extra days before replacing it as they went to their Lennox sale rep to see if Lennox would do anything.

Install of the new unit went well, they answered all of our questions and its working great. We will be using Southern Comfort for all of our AC/Heat needs in the future. All and all, very happy and highly recommend

These guys by far are the best around and very honest. I'm a single mom and needed a new unit for my home. They were able to help me find financing with Wells Fargo with no interest. Several months after my new unit was installed I had some problems and was able to pick up the phone and get help immediately. Shane and the rest of the team really did an awesome job and I would recommend them to anyone.
