Air Connection is a locally owned and operated company offering personalized sales and service to both commercial and custom residential properties. At Air Connection, our goal is to design a heating and/or air conditioning system that ensures comfort and completely satisfies the need, lifestyle and environment of our customers. We welcome the opportunity to sit down with you to discuss your "comfort concerns" and design a system built around your needs. We are unique in that we have the ability and expertise to custom-fit your needs.

A radiant system heats your home with radiant heat from hot water circulating in polyethelene pipes. These pipes, called BPEX pipes, can be installed in your floors, walls, or ceilings. Radiant heating provides even heat, warming the walls, floors, and ceilings to a gentle 85 degrees-about the same temperature as the surface of your skin. When the surfaces around you become as warm as you are, your body temperature is able to find its natural heat balance. Radiant heating eliminates the drafts and uneven temperatures inherent in forced air systems.

For residential projects, Air Connection typically designs the entire geoexchange mechanical system. We do our best to integrate the equipment and delivery system in a way that honors the architectural integrity of the building. For commercial projects, we usually work directly with the project engineer and architect in the system design. Washington, DC-Imagine an HVAC system that could save clients 25 to 50 percent on their utility bills. Imagine a system that is not only easy to maintain and reliable, but for every hour of use, produces one pound less CO2 than a conventional HVAC system.

By offering the option of geoexchange, Air Connection gives builders and developers a new energy efficient, environmentally friendly, less expensive to operate option for their client's heating and cooling needs. Geoexchange has been building its share of the HVAC market for 20 years, gaining support in both the public and private sectors. Today, it captures about one percent of the United States' $64 billion HVAC market. Market analysts expect that figure to grow to nearly seven percent early in the next century, carried on the demand for efficient, earth-friendly 'space conditioning.'
