Leading Force Energy and Design Center uses a team approach to design and construction. Our multiple member companies share the goal to benefit homeowners by developing healthy, energy-efficient projects within a manageable budget. We believe this integrated team approach will be the future of home building and renovation. In addition, we have a public showroom so you can see exactly what you're getting, whether it's a water heater or tile for your kitchen. Our products have been vetted as healthier alternatives to provide better indoor air quality in your home.

Leading Force will act as a contractor on certain smaller renovation projects, managing your project from start to finish. If your project includes energy efficiency, healthy materials, and green or sustainable goals, then we may be the right contractor for you. Our goal is to provide high performance, Healthy Homes for Life to our clients. Our 30 years of experience includes installation of kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, siding, interiors and exteriors, windows, doors, insulation and mechanical equipment, among others.

Architecture services are provided by Living Shelter Design, a Leading Force team member company. Principal architect Terry Phelan has more than 20 years experience designing healthier, sustainable homes using local, natural materials. Living Shelter's full-service firm provides the following range of services. Pre-design consultation covers a range of services performed by Living Shelter Design Architects (LSDA), from site visits and feasibility studies, including research and coordination; to helping develop the design and construction program, including priority lists and creating loose conceptual sketches.

In-House design service is free. Our designers help guide the creative process with you, your designer, architect and contractor, to bring your spaces to life so that your personal surroundings function well and look great. Once we understand your project goals, we offer additional design services that are billed to include research and design, design boards, site visits and travel.

My name is Steve Weise and I'm a fourth-generation builder currently living in the Yakima, Washington, area. My path to becoming a builder has not been direct or straight, but in retrospect, everything I've done in my life has led me to this profession. Whatever my pursuits, I've always been drawn towards helping people. Building homes, to me, is an extension of the desire to help the world be a better place and the ultimate way to help people connect with their surroundings. There's an old saying about meeting your destiny on the road you took to avoid it; in my early life, I tried a number of different things, but about 35 years ago I was gently and naturally guided back to my heritage of building homes.

Solar power services are provided by Ellensburg Solar, a Leading Force team member company. Owner Ryan Wales has many years' experience designing renewable energy systems, primarily solar photovoltaic and solar hot water systems. Ellensburg Solar handles design to installation, and guarantees performance from new systems installed by them. Step 1: Get a free estimate! Ellensburg Solar can take a look at your roof and energy usage and let you know how much it will cost to go solar. Step 2: We will design the perfect system to maximize your long-term savings while minimizing the time it takes to pay itself off.
