At Feller Heating the customer is our number one priority. Whether we are installing or servicing your heating or HVAC system, your peace of mind is our goal. Feller Heating has been in operation for over 40 years and we are often asked about the origin of our name. The company was started in 1979 as a sole proprietorship by Ed Feller. Over the years it gained a reputation for quality and integrity and that reputation continues today. At Feller Heating you'll find responsive customer service along with a qualified team of specialists.

Heat pumps simply transfer free heat (not air) from one place to another just like your refrigerator does. An evaporator coil extracts warmth from the air inside and transfers it out into your kitchen through the condenser coil in the back. Heat pumps work in the same way. Two coils, one inside your home, and the other outside, are linked to draw warmth from the outside air and transfer it into your home. That's a major advantage over electric or gas heaters, since heat pumps have no heating elements to burn energy.

For 40 years Feller Heating has established a reputation for honesty and quality in the design and installation of residential HVAC systems. Maintaining that reputation is what Feller Heating is all about. Tax incentives, manufacturer and utility rebates may apply to your new equipment purchase. Feller Heating will help in explaining all current offers available and we will take care of all required paperwork for you!

Geothermal heat pumps are three to five times as efficient as the most efficient fossil fuel furnace. Instead of burning a combustible fuel to make heat, they simply transfer heat that already exists from the earth. By doing so, they provide three to five units of energy for every unit used to power the heat-pump system. A horizontal slinky loop installation is shown in the photo to the right. This is the most common loop used when adequate land area is available. Loop installers use excavation equipment such as chain trenchers, backhoes and track hoes to dig trenches approximately 6-8 feet deep.

Most homeowners would love the benefit of keeping their homes cool during the summer months and want to know if it really is worth the investment for the area we live in. After having an in-home consultation with one of our specialists, customers are very surprised at how small of an investment it actually takes to have a new cooling system installed. After enjoying the benefits of air conditioning such as comfortable, even temperature control, year round air filtration, higher home security (since you can keep windows and doors closed), and getting a great night's sleep, customers come to quickly recognize the value of their investment.

Tankless water heaters, also called Instantaneous or Demand water heaters, provide hot water only as it is needed. Traditional storage water heaters produce standby energy losses that cost you money. A tankless water heater is used only when there is a demand for hot water. Tankless hot water heaters heat directly without the use of a storage tank. Therefore, they avoid the standby heat losses associated with storage water heaters. When a hot water tap is turned on, cold water travels through a pipe into the unit.
