We started in the pool business servicing and and renovating existing in ground swimming pools and in those early days we began to see a shift in the industry. Some companies came and went with the season and other stood the test of time. Daudelin also uses Latham for Mesh Safety Covers. Mesh covers allow for maximum drainage, highest abrasion resistance and tear strength and come with a warranty. Premium Mesh Safety Covers will block 99% of the sunlight. The custom heady duty hardware has a lower profile, allowing the covers to lay flat and fit tight, no matter the shape of the pool. All covers come in the following colors: green, blue, gray and tan. Latham Coverstar Automatic pool covers create a barrier over your pool that no child or pet can infiltrate.

Remodeling a swimming pool can, in some cases, be more challenging than new construction. Don't expect most pool builders or service companies to have the expertise or know-how to remodel/ renovate your pool properly. Remodeling/renovation can run the gamut from structural repair to cosmetic changes. Understanding the cause of problems that may exist is critical to successfully correcting a bad condition. Even a seemingly straightforward tile or coping upgrade can look like a patch job if not executed properly.

The estimated life of a pool liner will last a homeowner about 10 years based on the quality of pool maintenance and usage the liner undergoes. Eventually your liner will start to wear out from holding thousands of gallons of water on a daily basis. Maybe it will develop a teeny, tiny tear that you can't even see unless you're right up on it and happen to notice it. Some tears can go unnoticed and then it its too late to patch it because it tears completely. In other cases, damage can occur from accidents, forces of nature, lawn mower shrapnel, animals, and just old age.

Vinyl Lined (or simply Liner) pools refers to the interior lining of the swimming pool structure. Made out of chlorinated Poly Vinyl Chloride, it is simply the waterproof membrane that lines the inside of these swimming pools making them water tight. Liner pools are arguably the most popular method of swimming pool construction in our area largely due to having a smaller installation cost over Gunite/ShotCrete swimming pools.
