While we have been in the Lehigh Valley for nearly 40 years, HSA Mechanical actually had its start in 1932 as Herman Sommer & Associates (hence our name HSA) in Newark, New Jersey where the company specialized in boilers and furnace refractory. As the business grew so did the team and the territory it covered. An office was moved to center city Allentown in 1979 to better service the ever-expanding Lehigh Valley market. In 2009, the business moved to its current 12,000 sq ft headquarters in South Whitehall Township on the western edge of the Lehigh Valley.
