At Flagship Marine, we are dedicated to providing the most dependable, and the most rugged commercial/military quality air conditioning and chiller units available. When downtime can equal lost dollars, the durable and dependable Flagship Chillers are money in the bank. To make the very best in chillers we put the very best materials in the hands of skilled technicians. Every Flagship Marine unit is made in the USA with only domestic metal alloys. The evaporator housings, drain pans, electrical boxes are made of 5005 marine-grade aluminum.

Now you can benefit from the numerous advantages of self-contained systems without pumping sea water throughout your vessel. With a flooded system, you eliminate the head pressure from distances ADWL - only frictional losses need to be considered, which is ideal for multi-level applications and installations well above the water line, such as large ships and oil rigs. Pumping fresh cooling water, considering only frictional losses, can be thought of like supplying electricity- as long as the pressure is maintained on the supply line with atmospheric pressure on the discharge line (return line), it's easy to control the amount of cooling water to multiple individual units, even with multi-level installations.

All sheet metal components are CNC cut and fabricated with CNC brakes and fastened with SS rivets and PEM inserts. CuNi (Copper-Nickel) socolets that are TIG welded to the schedule 80 90/10 CuNi nipple with a monel alloy and brazed to the condenser tubes to ensure many years of trouble-free service. This configuration meets all MilSpec and ABYC requirements. Naked connections aren't nearly as durable and fail to meet those standards. For your convenience, all manifolds are fitted with reducing couplers and a 3/4″ drain plugs for winterizing.

Our powerful and exclusive incoloy clad heating element is an inherently safe low-temperature element - almost identical to the one in your home oven. It never gets red hot and therefore doesn't "burn" the air. Ideal for Marine applications, this system works in or out of the water. This is a true "Central Heating System" that will operate with any standard wall thermostat, however, our flush mounted digital control is very attractive and functional, giving you a great deal of control. For the 2 & 4KW models add about five inches to the height for a top discharge or to the length for a side discharge, and about 8 for the 6 & 8KW models for the discharge plenum.

When buying an AC unit from company you only see on line. All services have been exceptional from time of purchase to the time I installed. Had issues with unit. Spoke to Steve he walked me through every step to trouble shoot unit. Then instructed me how to ship it back, and returned extremely fast. On reinstall on Sat. He was there to get me through the mistakes I made.kudos to you guys from start to finish, and the great customer service I had through out the process, would HIGHLY recommend the air conditioning company. They are the BEST.

Three years ago I bought a 1985 50ft Marine Trader Widebody that had 3 Flagship Marine AC units on it. The vessel had been abandoned for years and hardly anything worked.exce pt the FMAC units, which are about 10 years old! Since then I have had to do some minor wiring work on a couple of them, no surprise there. I called them and talked to Steve and he was just great. He talked to me on the phone, waited while I flipped breakers, listened for clicking sounds, etc. He told me where to look for the problem and he was right. He then sent me the schematics for the unit in case I had more questions. And then at the end of the day HE CALLED ME BACK! Just to check on my progress. Incredible! At one point I had to send a unit back to them and they repaired for LESS THAN IT COST ME TO SHIP IT! I will never buy anything else, based on the units themselves and the service from a great company!

My wife and have owned 14 boats and that doesn't include any of the dinghys that went with them. I also know 6 other boaters who purchased more than 1 unit from flagship over a 20 year span. My recent purchase was a low profile 18k with heat strip for fitment in a gulfstar 50mkII ketch. The unit and all supplies are top quality right down to the bronze thru Hull strainer. These units and supplies are hands down the best quality and value point in the industry Barr none. I can say that because I've owned many boats equipped with other products that worked but were not as good as the flagship product. In addition, when I had a problem, Steve and Chris stepped right up and took care of it and sent me the part immediately. That's the mark of a good company, when there is an issue, how is it handled and flagship comes through and has done so multiple times for the 6 other boaters I mentioned above. It's pretty clear they are proud of their product and should be. It works better, has a better price point and they back it up with good service if you need it. When I need another system, I will buy another Flagship. Steve Thompson
