Our staff includes multiple engineers with fire/life safety system expertise and an in-house Fire Protection Professional Engineer.

Wood Harbinger marked our 50th Anniversary with a celebration for staff and clients on Friday, October 27th in our office. Honoring Our Past In 1967, our founder Steve Wood opened up an office in his home in Lynwood and began offering mechanical engineering services. In 1971, the firm was incorporated as Wood and Associates and. I was just coming off my rookie season with internships at CH2M Hill down in Corvallis, OR and Portland General Electric. With an Electrical Engineering degree from Oregon State University focused on power systems, I packed my bags just after.

Our electrical engineering team is distinguished by their first-hand experience on the client side, as licensed electricians, medium and high voltage technicians, construction administrators, general contractors, and design/build contractors. About a third of our Professional Engineers have field experience, which guides their perspective toward the ground truth, to the realities that clients face every day.
