D. O. Rittenhouse offers poured wall foundations of all sizes and dimensions. Standard Footing - 6" depth and 18" width. Walls - 8" thickness and 8" (or more) height. Reinforcement with rebar consisting of 3 horizontal runs. Frost Footings - 36 below grade. Insulated and engineered retaining walls. We do both waterproofing and damp proofing. Pennsylvania building code requires a water repellant coating on walls that are below ground level. We use Deco 20 Damp proofing. This can be applied directly to damp walls.

The American Hybrid Electric Heat Pump Water Heater is an integrated system that utilizes heat pump technology to provide a more efficient wat to heat water with electricity. The Heat Pump pulls heat for the surrounding air and deposits the heat into the tank. The end result is very efficient production of hot water, with cooler and dehumidified air as a welcome by-product.

Thin and elegant, our dimmable LED panels are today's cost effective solution to conventionnal grid lighting. The indirect light from the panel can also be adjusted with a light dimmer to adjust and soften any room. Wall Packs brighten up building exteriors, parking garages, and landscapes. Replacing inefficient 175 to 400watt metal halides, this LED wall pack emits a similarly bright light with even light distribution that customers are accustomed to. Utilizing a modular design, this light replaces traditional metal halide lighting from 150w to 750w.

Our insulation is available in rolls that come in thicknesses of 3/8" and ½" X 72' long. Metallic reflective facers, reinforced white woven facers or any combination of the two are laminated to either side of the EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) core of Thermal 3Ht Insulation. Reflective (silver) facers are recommended for most applications, however when extra strength, durability and flexibility is required the reinforced white woven facer becomes the laminate of choice. Examples of reinforced white woven applications: below grade, concrete floors, insulation behind stucco, insulating foundations and basements from the outside, long term exposed applications, etc.

Blow-in Blanket Systems (BIBs) is used in open walls in new homes or remodeled spaces. The BIB system gives your home a custom-designed, seamless, thermally efficient, sound-reducing blanket that completely fills any void. Installed in an open cavity before it is closed with drywall, blow-in blanket installation allows loose insulation to be blown behind plastic in walls, completely filling gaps in the wall and providing a more complete thermal barrier.

CERTI-VEX AC 309 is a low VOC fast drying curing, sealing, hardening and dust proofing clear coating that provides weather and chemical resistance to a wide variety of concrete surfaces. The product is ideal for use on new or existing exterior and interior above and below grade architectural concrete where a durable, slip resistant and low gloss ppearance is desired. Certi-Vex AC 309 features Vexcon's breathable technology which allows moisture vapor to pass through rather than becoming trapped, preventing whitening, peeling and flaking.
