Jansen's Heating & Air has been researching, teaching, and providing the latest techniques in comfort since 1987. By doing what it takes to guarantee your satisfaction, we have been welcomed into thousands of homes in central Illinois. We service all brands and specialize in heating and air conditioning repair and replacement. Through the years, we've grown and invested in new technologies and training, but we have always kept our focus on the three secrets that we learned in the first year almost three decades ago.

Tom and Cindy Jansen had a dream of starting their own business and on April 6, 1987, Jansen's Heating and Air was born. With a card table, push button phone, and one van, Tom and Cindy went to work and have grown to support 20+ families. Located on West Route 40 in Effingham, we have a state-of-the-art training facility, "Comfort Academy", which was the original office. That building is currently used to train our certified technicians. The main office has transformed twice to accommodate growth and houses geothermal heating and air systems.

From start to finish, everyone was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. We started with your answering service who completed the follow-through. The office staff who made the appointment, Lavon who diagnosed, Troy who helped explain options and complete paperwork, to Dennis and Trent who completed the project by installing and educating us. We are 100% satisfied, Thank you! This is our first experience with Jansen's Heating and Air. From our initial inquiry on your duct cleaning and sanitization service to the final clean-up, your staff was courteous, informative, professional, and efficient.

Through the use of a remote video inspection camera, our guys can show you how clean it is when we're finished. Consider a small investment into our most popular maintenance program The Doctor Comfort Club for just 16.95/month.

We are confident in our work and have respect for our clients. We pass along these promises to you because we want you to feel the same way - confident in your comfort specialists. We, Jansen's Heating & Air Conditioning, guarantee the performance of our equipment and installation. The cooling system will provide at the thermostat 70 degrees indoor temperature on a 95-degree summer day. The heating system will provide at the thermostat 75 degrees indoor temperature on a zero-degree winter day (with a 15-mph wind velocity).

Whether choosing a gas, electric, heat pump, or geothermal heating system, we have the correct comfort unit for you and your home. Variable and multi-speed furnaces can provide enhanced indoor comfort by slowly ramping up to your thermostat setting rather than simply turning on at full speed. This action alleviates the "cold air blow" often associated with single-speed furnaces. For a furnace that delivers maximum energy efficiency and savings, select a unit with the highest AFUE rating. What is AFUE?

Even on the hottest days of the year, you can enjoy low energy costs and cool, comfortable air with a high-efficiency air conditioner from Jansen's. Don't choose between affordability, durability, and optimum cooling comfort — have Dr. Comfort's trained team install your air conditioner and get all three. When choosing an air conditioner, remember that higher SEER rating numbers reflect the most energy efficient systems. What is SEER? SEER is the abbreviation for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio.

A heat pump uses the outside air to both heat a home in winter and cool it in summer. A reversing valve switches the flow of Freon to warm for hot air or reversed, it will cool. Installation typically consists of two parts: an indoor unit called an air handler or gas furnace and an outdoor unit similar to a central air conditioner, but referred to as a heat pump. An advantage of a heat pump is that it moves heat instead of generating heat, giving you more energy efficiency. Jansen's Heating offers a full line of heat pump systems, so you are certain to find the perfect system to fit your budget.

Thanks guys. 18 degrees out and my furnace quits. They got here quick! Heat is back on! Thanks Wiley!
