Tropic Air is a full service Residential and Light Commercial HVAC contractor serving the DFW metroplex. We know our customers depend on our honest, reliable service that has kept us in business for over 30 years. When your AC stops working you need an honest, reliable company who cares more about serving their customers than lining their pockets. Whether its regular maintenance, repair, or complete replacement of your HVAC system, we will be there to serve you when your HVAC issues arise. Keeping your staff happy is vital to productivity, and keeping customers comfortable can be a key component to customer satisfaction.
Tropic Air started in 1986. Bob, our owner, had several years of experience and was working for another HVAC company in the area. Overnight the company shut down, so Bob contacted the owners of the properties he was working on and made sure the jobs were completed with no interruption. 30 years later we have grown a little in size, a lot in wisdom, and our focus is still the same. Customer service is where we started, and it is what we continue to strive for today.
Climate Control Professionals who feel like family. We use them regularly for preventive maintenance. With Texas weather the way it is we can't live.
The folks at Tropic Air did a timely and fantastic job installing a new unit when our air conditioning died on very hot Sunday night July 23, 2017.

We hope you are all staying warm!
This weekend I got an advertisement for a competing HVAC company. I usually look them over real quick and trash them, but this one caught my eye and I read it several times. I’m glad I did, because first thing Monday morning I got a call from one of our customers who got the same mailer and was very worried. This is older information, but I wanted to share this in case you have not heard what is happening regarding the refrigerant in HVAC systems.
Time to make some hot cocoa and bundle up, because here comes winter!
