Atlantis Pest Management uses Integrated Pest Management (I.P.M.) as the basis for all services provided to our customers. I.P.M. uses a common sense approach to control pest. It does not solely rely upon insecticides to solve the problem. Structural modification, sanitation, and moisture control are some of the many factors we look at when providing service. We are a small, family owned local pest control company that is committed to providing honest assessment of your property. We provide service for residential, commercial and industrial properties.

Atlantis Pest Management, Inc. was started in April of 2006. The owner Michael Twomey started with the belief that if you treat people the same way you wanted to be treated it will help in keeping this customer and that customer referring Atlantis Pest Management to their friend, family and co-workers when they need a problem solved. Michael Twomey has been licensed in pest control since 1979. We at Atlantis Pest Management will not try to sell you something that you do not need. We will give honest evaluations, charge reasonable rates, and provide a professional service.

Mice- When the weather starts to get colder mice will try to enter your house to stay warm for the winter. They can fit into the smallest openings (1/4) around the exterior of your house. Two of the most common areas where mice enter are garage doors and bulkhead. Other areas are around utility and cable entries. These areas should be checked and sealed with caulking, wire mesh or steel wool. Make sure you use materials that mice cannot chew through. Do not feed the birds- Birdfeeders allow for seed to fall on ground.

The only termites in this area are Eastern Subterranean Termites. Their nest is in the soil below the frost line and above water tables. Their source of food is cellulose (wood). They live under ground and feed off rotted stumps, firewood directly stored on ground, buried lumber, and the wood of your house. Homeowners typically see termites swarming from late February to early June. They are weak fliers and are attracted to light (windows, doors or lighting within house) when swarming on inside of house.
