Last year, two students were awarded the 2019 Salino Scholarship. We send our heartfelt congratulations to these individuals and welcome applications for the 2020 Scholarship. The Salino Scholarships are awarded annually by the Pennsylvania Pest Management Association to high school students who are residents of Pennsylvania and who have been accepted as full-time students at an accredited 4-year college or university or enrolled in a 2-year associated degree program leading to an Associate Degree and/or Bachelor's Degree.

The Pennsylvania Pest Management Association is dedicated to leading the structural pest management industry in the Commonwealth by providing superior education opportunities for the industry, a united voice for the industry in the Commonwealth, and maintaining the trust of its members, as well as the citizens and government of the Commonwealth, while sustaining its tradition of environmental stewardship. The Pennsylvania Pest Management Association is a group of structural Pest Management Professionals who value member participation, interaction, communication, and a spirit of cooperation between companies of all sizes.

The Association was incorporated initially in Philadelphia in October of 1954 as the Eastern Pennsylvania Pest Control Association. Serving as the Association's first officers were Morris T. Grossman, Charles Cushing, Alexander Ehrlich, Harry Egner, and Aubrey McNeil. In March of 1958 the association name was amended to the Pennsylvania Pest Control Association, Inc. and was again amended in December 2000 to its current name, the Pennsylvania Pest Management Association Inc. (PPMA).

The Inspector is the official newsletter of the Pennsylvania Pest Management Association. It is published electronically on a monthly basis and is sent to over 190 companies within Pennsylvania and into neighboring states. Ads are printed in color and inserted on the left column of The Inspector. Your camera-ready ad can be submitted by mail or via e-mail to cwright@versantstrategies.net in a JPEG or Bitmap format. We offer these ads on a prepaid basis only for a yearly rate of $350. In addition to your ad being featured in every electronic version, your ad will also be included in the printed program brochure for the PPMA's Annual Conference in November.
