Eric Wintemute was elected as President of AMVAC and Chief Executive Officer of American Vanguard Corporation in mid-1994. Mr. Wintemute had joined the company in January 1994 as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and a member of the Board of Directors following American Vanguard's acquisition of GemChem Inc., a national and international chemical distribution company he co-founded in 1991.
