Lawn Fertilization and weed control is an important part of a good lawn maintenance program. Adding fertilizer to your lawn helps maintain the important nutrients needed to maintain a good healthy root system, and color to give you the best looking yard around the neighborhood! It is highly recommend that your turf receives a core aeration every year. There are five fertilization programs available, pick and choose as you desire. The recommended amount of Nitrogen(N) per season applied is around 4 to 5 lbs per 1000 sqft.

Core aeration is one of the most beneficial treatments one can give their yard. Aerating in combination with our fertilizing programs will give you optimal results. These results are often seen in a short period of time with a somewhat healthy lawn and two to three years in a poor conditioned lawn. Core aeration is a process by which cores or plugs of soil, normally 2″ in length and 1″ thick, are removed from your lawn using what is called an aerator machine. This machine has what are called tines or metal tubes that when moved forward will pull out these cores of soil creating a hole and will leave the core of soil lay on the grass.

We do look to be SPCA licensed for MN in the next two years though. The Eastern Mole ( Scalopus Aquaticus) is the most common Mole species in the Twin Cities seven county metro area. Moles can cause significant damage to your lawn and gardening areas by uprooting grass and plant roots.

Spring clean ups, de-thatching or power raking are offered starting April 15th, or when the lawn is firm enough to rake or de-thatch. Fall clean ups and leaf removal are offered starting around Oct. 1st or when the leaves are falling, and finish falling, or when ever you call to have them removed from your property! Like Spring Clean Up, you can also incorporate your fall fertilizing and/or mowing. The nice thing about adding the mowing is you have a nice clean cut lawn when finished.
