Spring Touch Lawn & Pest Control was started by Marv Kottke in 1973 as a neighborhood mowing service in Mankato, Minnesota. He continued his mowing service during high school and college and then he started treating lawns for weeds and applied fertilizer in the early 1980s. As Marv continued his education at Mankato State University, he also began attending the University of Minnesota studying Horticulture. Afterward, he began focusing on growing his business with the help of his wife, Linda. He hired his first employee in 1989 and we are delighted to say that he is still with us today specializing in irrigation maintenance.
