They had my Bowers & Wilkins speaker for 7 months for a warranty repair and were completely unable to fix the problem. They were totally not responsive to email or phone calls. They sent the speaker back to me me once and said it was fixed, and it wasn't so I sent it back and gave them an audio recording of the defective speaker and the good speaker playing the same sound. They never listened to the recording but told me they had already replaced both drivers so there was nothing they could do. After further pressure on my part, they told me to drive out in person and show them the problem. I did so, and played the audio file in front of the tech and the owner or manager who then proceeded to tell me that it was probably just a "design flaw" in the speaker itself then proceeded to try and sell me another pair of speakers! The tech who obviously couldn't stand his boss told me that I needed to bring the other speaker from the pair in so he could compare them (even though I had originally brought both in and was told that I should only leave the one.) I then had to make another trip out there with the 2nd speaker which they hung onto for weeks and never returned my phone calls. Finally after many attempts on my part I was told the speaker was "ready for pick up" but when I asked if they had done anything to repair it the receptionist didn't know and said she would get to me which she didn't and in the end they told me there was nothing wrong because apparently their instruments said there was not anything wrong and they refused to listen to the audio files I sent or just didn't care because they had collected their warranty money from B&W so finally in total disgust and frustration I picked the speakers up and sent the malfunctioning one off to B&W in Boston who actually listened to the audio file verified the problem fixed it and returned the speaker to me within 2 weeks. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES let these people attempt to repair anything! They are completely incompetent and unprofessional. I stake my reputation as a composer and an audio professional on this. Stay away from this company!
