Quality First Termite Control offers a one (1) year warranty on all local treatment in visible and accessible areas and/or areas previously treated and a two (2) year warranty will be issued on all fumigations. Termites infest nearly 5+ million U.S. homes each year. Termite colonies work 24 hours a day, and unless there are obvious signs of infestation, a termite colony can go undiscovered causing serious damage. Subterranean Termite Infestations are only eradicated by injecting chemical directly into the soil under or around the home. Sometimes this requires drilling holes thru the concrete foundation or trenching under and around your home. Then the chemical is injected the holds and into the soil below.

Fungus attacks organic materials such as paper, books, cloth, photographs, and leather. Fungus grows from spores, which are everywhere in our environment. Usually these spores are inactive, but they will germinate when the relative humidity exceeds 70 percent. Temperatures above 65 degrees increase the likelihood of fungus growth. Moisture is your homes main enemy. Without proper ventilation or the lack of sunlight, many wooded areas of your home can be susceptible to fungus growth. If fungus is unattained for too long, it will start to breakdown the cellulose in the wood that holds up your home or your patio.

Unfortunately millions of homeowners are advised that their home is termite infested and fumigation of their home is needed to resolve the problem. At Quality First, we explore every avenue to solve your infestation problem through local treatment alternatives. However, if the infestation is too pervasive, a whole tent fumigation is the only way to effectively rid your home or business of these destructive insects. The fumigation process will usually take approximately 72 hours. The fumigator will cover the home with large tarps, prepare the interior, seal the tarps and then release the warning agent with the use of a special hose attached to the fumigant cylinder kept outside of the property.
