San Mateo County Mosquito and Vector Control District uses an integrated pest management strategy to safeguard the health and comfort of the residents of San Mateo County. Our service area includes the entirety of San Mateo County (above). To safeguard the health and comfort of the citizens of San Mateo County through a science-based program of integrated vector management. State law defines a special district as "any agency of the State for local performance of governmental or proprietary functions within limited boundaries" (Government Code 1627[d]).
