Based on the current health climate, we will be closing our doors at 5PM on Friday March 20. We will stay closed until we feel it is safe to reopen. If you have not received an email stating your class is cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled, it will be occurring this week (and this week only). Friday March 20th will be the final Pottery Open Studio. Please pick up your artwork or art materials that you may be storing here. Our building will be closed to the public in every fashion (no exhibits, classes, or restrooms).
Our Painting Studio is 942 square feet fitting up to 47 artists, fully equipped with painting storage, easels, and BEAUTIFUL 9 ft windows to allow natural light in from the view into Downtown Troy. I saw the musical "Fireside" written by a couple of local artists. It was amazing! The characters drew you in and forced you to feel the raw emotion. With this kind of venue offering many ways to advance the arts, and the local shops and eateries surrounding the center, this is the place to be!
Great experience! I would highly recommend "Using Your DSLR Camera: A Crash Course" with instructor Katherine Wright!
