I have had Gill Security for 7 years. Overall I am completely satisfied with the service. I recently had to contact them about a "check" light on my keypad which I had never seen before. It was giving me a code which was hallway motion detector. They told me to put my code in twice but still no luck. A tech called me back and walked me thru the bypass stage so I could still use my system until I could get it "fixed".
He suggested they come out for a service call for $75, which I think is a bit steep to see what the problem was. I declined because I wanted to do some research of my own. So I hop on Google and it tells me exactly what is wrong.the battery needs to be changed. I come home change the battery and the check light is GONE! It baffles me how he insisted on a service call that would have cost me $75 dollars when all he had to do was maybe suggest a battery change. I've been a customer like I said for 7 years so I was a little disappointed that they tried to get over on me.

I requested a "certificate" for my insurer stating my home was being monitored on May 3. Gill's fax machine wasn't working, so called and talked to a lady who said she would get in touch with my insurer and fax over the required document the next day. Then on May 13 I received said certificate in the mail with from Corie saying she "could not get the document to fax through". Of course you can't. Gill's damned fax machine isn't working!
