I had the American Legion handling my VA claims for about 2 years, never got a call or any contact. I switched to a private lawyer not much better. I spoke to a woman from The American Legion this week, and she was just plain mean and rude. I have made my last donation, have been giving for years, always drop a 10 in boxes at stores and locations where they are fund raising. No more, just a self serving bunch of liars who do little.
