Appalachian Ironworks specializes in the design, fabrication, and installation of fine quality custom ornamental metalwork. Using original designs, exquisite metalwork is produced by our experienced craftsmen combining traditional hand-forging techniques on wrought iron, bronze, copper, and other specialty materials with modern metalworking methods in our well-equipped facility. Appalachian Ironworks has completed monumental projects in residential, commercial, religious, and public government locations.

John Robinson began his journey into the art of working with iron when he was still a young man! His part-time passion became a full-time achievable dream. Since beginning Appalachian Ironworks, in 1996, he has had the opportunity to work with homebuilders, owners, local and state government, churchs and businesses who want that something "extra" for their space. He finds sources of inspiration with his family and friends and looks forward to helping you create your dream Iron Piece!

We had an old glider that needed sandblasting and a new coat of paint. Even though it was a small job they went to work on it quickly and retuned it to us in a beautiful red paint. We love it and are so happy to be able to keep this swing that has been in our family for years. Thanks so much!

We love our job, what we do and the people we meet! It feels great when you know at the end of the job you can say, "job well done!" And we strive to always do work our customers can be proud of too!

Love their work! Friendly Staff! Community oriented! These folks will work with you to get the perfect gate / fence / spiral staircase or create a custom piece for you! In my perfect world, I have much more Iron throughout the space!

What's new?

Proud to be an American - and Proud to be part of this community! Thank you for allowing us to serve your Iron Needs for 15+ years. We look forward to many more!
