The Flicks has four movie screens with 192, 96, 55 and 45 seats, lobby caf with a fireplace, an upstairs meeting room, a garden patio with a fountain and caf seating, and a video/DVD rental shop which features the same kind of movies that we choose to show in our theatres. In our auditoriums, we feature independent, foreign and art films, plus the best of the Hollywood movies. The Flicks has served espresso beverages longer than any business in Idaho. We have featured signature salads, sizzling burgers, the best soups in town and delectable desserts as well as domestic, imported and micro brews and a selection of fine wines since we first opened our doors.
I do love it here! Great movies. the best popcorn. a great patio to meet up with friends and have a sandwich and wine or a beer. so eclectic and cute. Seats are not as comfy as the newer theaters but I overlook it for the retro charm and it's just a cozy atmosphere. It's my favorite!
If you are taking a girl on a date or anniversary, this is the place to be. Old world class and style. The food and staff are amazing. You can take your food (fresh made hot food) and drinks (beer and wine) into your movie with you. Highly recommend.
If Boise didn't have The Flicks, I don't think I would have moved here. My husband and I are regulars. You can get some food before or after the movie. You can get beer or wine! And the staff is awesome. Love this place.
