This is a Family owned and operated Company. This site is dedicated to bringing you quick and easy information regarding ornamental iron work and other wrought iron products. We build custom-designed fences, gates, railings, spiral staircases, and other high quality iron products. We also build furniture, window well covers or grates, and window security guards. Also, we sell many parts including spears, collars, leaves, and other decorative items.

The history of The Iron Anvil began more than a half-century ago (55 years), serving the Utah area. Vern continues the tradition of creating high quality and custom ornamental ironwork. Govert Coleman, a Dutchman, rented a building from Central Office Supply, at 3026 S. State St. in Salt Lake City, Utah. He started the business by processing mostly small ornamental iron light fixtures. He began in 1966 and operated the business for 4 or 5 years. Mike and Marty Lingwall moved the business to 1604 S. Jefferson Street in Salt Lake City, UT.

The Iron Anvil is a manufacturing concern. We provide beauty and security to our customers. By careful, detailed construction of ornamental iron, we provide true, straight, sharp, and accurate products to our customers. We are the leaders in this industry.
