In the spring of 2004 my wife Betsy and I needed to have some items hauled away from our home in Austin. We started looking around for options and could only find what we literally called "two creepy dudes and an old beat-up truck"- the kind of guys that know the Texas Department of Correction's school song forward and backwards. Betsy suggested that someone should start a professional, full-service junk removal company with a focus on great customer service. No creepy dudes. And that's how the original idea came about for starting Junk Busters.
We're often asked why someone should hire Junk Busters over any other junk removal company in Austin. We love to answer this question. When was the last time you hired a company and they actually made you feel like they cared about you? We don't see it too often anymore ourselves. We've made it a major goal since we opened to actually care about our customers and work hard to do an outstanding job for them. From the very beginning, Junk Busters has been dedicated to recycling and donating, and keeping as much as we can out of our landfills.
