Located in Pennsylvania Hardwood Country, our main office features one of the most unique and comprehensive showrooms on the East Coast. Homeowners from far and wide utilize our showroom for design ideas and inspiration when selecting their mouldings, doors, hardwood flooring, and custom millwork. Each of our showroom vignettes features its own architectural detail and woodwork styling. Collectively they offer hundreds of options.

Lorne, and former partner Brad Lauver, founded Heister House in 1988. Under Lorne's leadership the company has grown to over 90 employees serving multiple end-use business segments. Lorne has always enjoyed "getting his hands dirty" and can quite often be found installing a new piece of equipment or trying to figure out how to make a production process run more smoothly and efficiently. Adam officially started working for Heister House on June 5, 2000, but he began helping his dad, founder Brad Lauver, off-bear mouldings at age 4. Adam has spent time in inside and outside sales and possesses a wealth of millwork knowledge.

Heister House Millworks is located in the Heart of Pennsylvania Hardwood Country, A.K.A. the town of Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA. From this quaint location, we service the home builder, remodeler, and manufactured housing customer base of all of Central PA. Heister House products are sold through TW Perry in the states of Maryland and Virginia, and online at www.twperry.com. Perry's is a full service building material supplier that services the areas in and around Baltimore and Washington DC. The have nearly 30 sales representatives on the road and operate a custom millwork operation out of Savage, MD.

Select from our impressive Presidential Series, which includes 16 distinctive designs. Custom orders can be made in just three to four weeks, giving you the opportunity to get exactly what you want without holding up the construction process.

From the moulding perspective, we can offer everything from an inexpensive commodity profile, all the way up to a one-of-a -kind custom profile that's been designed for a specific homeowner. We even have the ability to duplicate old mouldings for restoration projects. Today, we offer nearly 200 "stock" profiles, which we carry in Pine, Poplar, and Red Oak. Additionally, we carry a rough lumber inventory of White Oak, American Cherry, Maple, Hickory, Walnut, and Ash. And, we can source many other species or woods including imported mahogany.

We're in the cabinet business, so we've decided to leave the countertop business to the experts. We work with a network of countertop fabricators and installers who are true experts in this area. Our suppliers will come to your job, measure, and template your area to ensure a perfect fit. And, their expert installation crews will do the job right and leave everything looking fabulous. Our sales people are happy to help with your coutertop selections. Heister House features an interior door pre-hanging shop where we can hang your door into the frame for easy installation. This capability, coupled with our direct purchasing power, allows us to offer interior doors at very competitive prices. And, we have enough capacity to keep our lead-times at acceptable levels.

We've been supplying quality millwork products to builders and remodelers for more than 25 years. And our factory trained assembly team takes care to build to Therma-Tru specifications for long term, trouble -free operation and performance. Heister House stocks the necessary components to assemble the door styles shown on this page. We receive direct shipments from Therma-Tru and build these doors ourselves in order to keep your costs as low as possible. Plus, we can pre-finish your door panels in one of 24 different colors.

Our Specialty Shop is staffed by a team of Master Craftsmen who have the ability to conceptualize and create unique products to your design specifications. Heister House utilizes a computerized CNC router, giving us the unique ability to manufacture products with curves and radii, which allows for limitless design and breathtaking views. While we build a lot of wood columns, beams, and trusses, we have the ability to make anything that can be constructed out of wood. Our custom millwork can be found in some of the finest homes on the East Coast.
