We believe every floor should be unique. That is why we custom-make our reclaimed and newly-sawn floors. Our expert prefinishing team will hand texture and custom finish your floor to create any desired look. Our in-house manufacturing gives us the flexibility to adapt any product to suit commercial projects. For fast installation, we offer custom pre-finishing and engineered alternatives for all Mountain Lumber floors. Mountain Lumber provides a wide array of accents and millwork to complement our floors including reclaimed beams, stair treads, mantels and countertops.

Reimagine your walls and ceilings with a custom wood solution. We can supply planks that you install to any backing material, or a prefabricated panel that merely needs to be fastened to the wall. Wood adds warmth and depth to interior design at an economical price, adding to its popularity for residential and commercial cladding applications. Because wood walls do not have to be perfectly flat, there are options such as multi-depth, beadboard, shiplap and other 3-dimensional profiles. We primarily work with American hard and softwoods, with white oak, walnut, hickory and various pine products being predominant.

Beyond their good looks, Mountain Lumber's custom-made countertops are designed and built for extra stability. Offered in a variety of woods and grades as both plank and butcherblock designs, these work surfaces are 1 1/2" thick, up to 25" deep and available in lengths up to 14'. You can specify different thicknesses and depths to meet your specific project's needs. We also offer countertops in different wood varieties. Please call us for custom quotes.

Reclaimed wood has been taken from long-standing idle buildings and refinished for new purposes. Mountain Lumber flooring comes from timbers and decking rescued from old buildings, barns, piers and other structures. Many of our products come from century-old textile mills and factories built during the Industrial Revolution using 300 to 400 year-old Longleaf Heart Pine. Prior to European settlement, Longleaf Pine covered as much as 90 million acres of land, stretching from Florida to Virginia. The settlers and their descendants prized the Longleaf Pine for its size, strength and abundance.

Our instructions available for installing and finishing a Mountain Lumber floor are the result of over thirty years of experience with reclaimed wood products. Below is a summary of the general installation guides for our wood flooring products. Because of the stability and quality of our floors, there is some flexibility on our recommended guidelines. Please call us to discuss your individual job site or sub-floor situation. We will provide you a more detailed set of instructions for installation, finishing and care at the time you place your order.

The Americana Collection features our twelve most sought-after finishes on wideplank, engineered white oak-offering style and stability for a variety of applications both commercial and residential. Because we do not compromise on quality, as with all Mountain Lumber products, our Americana Collection is manufactured and quality-controlled at every point of the process at our mills in Virginia and West Virginia. Granary Oak is a warm blend of original patina American oak. This wood features distressed and planed antique surfaces, unusual grain patterns, saw-tooth etchings and other distinguishing character marks.
