This was a five star job. The workmanship was great, the price very reasonable and the epoxy system used was the best. I did not tell the workmen, but in the early 1960's, I had done engineering work on the resins used in concrete coatings. I was quite familiar with the product and know from first hand experience that the epoxy system used was best and the work was done properly. Stronghold Floors installed epoxy/polyaspartic floor coverings to two garage floors at our home a few weeks ago. The sales process was so wonderful as compared to the other three vendors we met with.

While our emphasis wasgarage makeovers, we also enhanced basements, sunrooms, patios, poolrooms and workshops. Ourcommercial projectsincluded restaurants, commercial kitchens, fire stations, kennels, showrooms, food processing, churches, dairies, service bays and more. In 2011, we changed our name to STRONGHOLD FLOORS and tightened our focus to concrete floor coatings systems. This change allows our staff to provide additional floor coating systems, increase our concrete restoration capabilities and add more artistic offerings.

Retail requires a great looking floor to show off your product and services. Whether it's a salon, car parts store or a yogurt shop, we have a retail floor coating solution for you. Unlike floor paint or VCT tiles, a retail floor coating from STRONGHOLD FLOORS is going to stay stuck to the concrete, tolerate frequent cleaning and hold up to the daily wear-and-tear. Our retail floor coatings utilize industrial grade epoxies, high-wear urethanes and rock-hard polyaspartics. No floor paints here. No tiles to replace.

Production can be messy. No one wants to walk their prospects and customers across a dirty, stained production floor. With a production floor coating system from STRONGHOLD FLOORS, you can increase productivity, decrease cleaning, enhance existing lighting and be PROUD to show off YOUR operations. Unlike floor paint or VCT tiles, a production floor coating from STRONGHOLD FLOORS is going to stay stuck to the concrete, tolerate the chemicals (lubricants, sprays, fuels, anti-freeze) and hold up to the daily wear-and-tear.

Forget about those PVC plastic tiles (see 5 Problems with Plastic Garage Floor Tiles) and other garage floor coverings. Don't waste your time and $$$ on DIY garage floor paint. We install long-lasting garage floor coatings to meet every homeowners' needs. This is, by far, the most common garage floor coatings system we install in the garage. This premium system features a fully pigmented primer/base layer, a full broadcast of decorative chips/flakes and a clear, protective top coat.

STRONGHOLD FLOORS recommends all owners determine what their objectives are and then call us to discuss which concrete floor coating systems are appropriate. The systems shown in the diagram below are the most common, but others do exist. While "epoxy" is the term most commonly used, often the correct systems combine epoxy basecoats with polyaspartic, polyurethane or polyurea topcoats. The use and maintenance of the floor will often dictate which chemicals are appropriate. Our staff can assist you with that determination.

Basements create the opportunity for special spaces. Used for media rooms, game rooms, home gyms and wine cellars, the basement usually starts out as one big open space. Whether you carve it into many spaces or keep that open feel, basement floor coatings are an expression of your use and lifestyle. Basement floor coatings can alleviate or prevent some common problems experience in basements. Those problems include musty odor, mold or mildew in carpet or the carpet pad, and mold/mildew in the tile grout.

It takes more just a kit or product purchased at a hardware store. It takes experience. Experience with the correct floor coatings materials and the correct surface preparation process. Our staff has been applying garage floor coatings since 2004. With over 6000 garages coatings installed, we have the experience required to do the job and do the job right the first time. Our garage floor coatings may be applied year round. Unlike epoxy paint kits, our garage floor coatings do not require a warm concrete slab (substrate), nor does it require warm air to cure.

That's not to say we have the proper floor solution for everyone. There are certainly types of floor finishes that fall out side of our offerings. The best way to find out whether Stronghold Floors can assist you with your project is to contact us. Steve was great. Walked us thru the whole process. The workmanship gave every attention to detail. Would recommend

We are very happy with our new garage floor. The entire process was easy from the estimate to the day it was done. I was happy with Dave and the guys who came to install. We used the dauphin color.

Stronghold workmanship and attention to detail was top notch. The garage floor still looks new after 2 years of daily use.
