At Tennessee Wood Flooring, we air dry our finishes for quality and longevity purposes. Unlike UV coating, the air drying system we use allows the stains and finishes to penetrate into the wood allowing for a durable bond between the materials while keeping that natural look. Although UV coating may have that nice glossy look when it is new, when subjected to the stresses of daily life, especially in retail and industrial settings, this look quickly fades away and can be very costly to fix. With our air dry system, even if the finish is damaged, it is easy to take a 3M pad, apply a small amount of new finish, let it air dry, and then you are as good as new.
