We distribute fabrics suitable for automotive, marine, awning, industrial, healthcare, outdoor, contract, and hospitality applications. For automotive applications, in addition to vinyl, cloth, leather and carpet we also carry interior and exterior trim products such as foam, convertible tops, car seat heaters, and fasteners.
When any wide carpet is ordered from Miami, the CSR will typically ask if it's OK to fold the carpet to save on some substantial shipping charges. Below are some pictures that demonstrate the effect of folding the carpet. We encourage the shop to leave ample time in order for the carpet to either be steamed or laid out in the sun for a few hours (up to a day) in order to let the fibers relax and stretch back out to normal. If it's within your shipping budget, we always recommend to ship wide carpets flat, but folding is always an option.
We are reupholstering a 1987 Four Winns boat, and trying to match the vinyl colors was proving difficult- especially since the exact same vinyls can look different on different websites. I was able to mail a swatch to them and have them give me the 2 best matches, and order from there. Neil was so very helpful and prompt, and I greatly appreciated it! Thank you again!
I have been buying tops and all other materials to do with Auto Upholstery for over 40 years for myself but also my company i also work for has been dealing with you all for 3 to 4 generations back, your whole staff of workers are friendly and always knows what you need when you tell them and when they don't have it, they order it and when they tell you a date when it will be there it is there 100% of the time unless it is a special order but it still comes in faster than any other place could get it in, i would recommend anybody and everybody dealing in restoring autos or awnings for your home or business, great people and great prices.
