At Habitat for Humanity, we not only offer safe, affordable homes; we offer hope. By facilitating homeownership, families can break the cycle of poverty, which goes a long way to building a better future for multiple generations. Mission: Seeking to put God's love into action, Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Thanks to our generous supporters and volunteers, 22 families were served last year via new builds, rehabs, critical home repairs, and credit counseling!

Since 1986, Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity's (RMHFH), has partnered with more than 300 hard-working families in the area to help them realize their dream of homeownership and also assisted families in need of critical home repairs. RMHFH's Homeownership Program is for individuals or families that demonstrate a need for housing, the ability to pay a mortgage and are willing to partner with us. Being a good partner is the key to success in our program. We provide support throughout the process through budget mentoring, homebuyer education and setting goals for accountability.

Our Northside and Chesterfield locations are back open to the public, Tuesday through Saturday, 10AM - 5PM. We have put into place new safety protocols, including requiring masks for all shoppers, volunteers and staff, and limiting the number of customers in the store. Shopping at ReStore is a treasure hunt! Every day we have new inventory to choose from, including furniture, building supplies, flooring, architectural items, home decor, cabinetry, fixtures, wallpaper, appliances and unusual finds-all at prices up to 90% below retail.
