Nearly a century ago, my great grandfather was a carpenter and home builder in Quincy, Illinois. My grandfather was a general contractor and land developer; and to this day, my father continues to renovate homes. So, I guess you could say construction is in my blood. I've been working on construction job sites since I was a kid, honing my skills and learning about all aspects of the building industry, from foundations to finishing. I graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor's degree in Construction Technology.
