Associated Builders and Contractors of Connecticut (CT ABC) is a membership association representing Merit Shop contractors. Merit Shop Contractors account for over 80% of the construction industry in Connecticut and 86% of the industry nationwide. As a Chapter of ABC National, our membership of over 210 members are afforded an effective voice in the political system at the local, state and federal levels. We are a voluntary membership organization working to support and advance the entire construction industry.
Guides and Supports CT ABC lobbyist. Develops and implements strategies to protect the rights of Merit Shop contractors. Tracks legislation on the State and Federal levels. Provides testimony to appropriate bodies. Chairs: Robert Dunn, KBE Building Corp. and Brian Kronenberger, Kronenberger & Sons Restoration, Inc. Ron Jodice, PDS Engineering & Construction, Inc. Brian Kronenberger, Kronenberger & Sons Restoration, Inc. Studies and recommends policies to the Board of Directors related to acquisition and retention of members.
