As the third-generation of the Snider family to lead Stanmar, these core values continue to be the foundation upon which we do business. Originally founded as a masonry materials company, by the end of World War II Harry guided the business to become a manufacturer of wood truss and building panels. During the 1960s and 1970s, my father, Stanley Snider, further evolved the firm to the design and construction of buildings, developing our integrated, single-source responsibility approach. Embracing Design/Build as the best method to enable our expertise to make a difference for clients, Stanley incorporated the firm and renamed it "Stanmar, Inc." - a combination of his name, Stanley, and my mother's, Mary Anne.

Stanmar's integrated team of architects, engineers, and construction professionals all work together to give our clients a comprehensive Design & Construction approach that is different from what they have experienced on prior projects. This video of PJ McDonald, Headmaster of the Eagle Hill School in Hardwick, MA, discusses why he selected Stanmar to Design and Construct the Ron. When a client engages with Stanmar, we begin The Design Solution. This process takes approximately five months during which we avoid the major pitfalls and problems seen in planning and construction by tackling the toughest issues, including realistic budget parameters, before any major investment has been made in working drawings.
