Vanderpool Construction

Vanderpool Construction is a family owned and operated commercial and residential excavation business in Indianola, Iowa. We specialize in site development, underground utility work and property demolition, as well as land improvement.

The Vanderpool family has been serving the excavation and underground utility needs of central and south central Iowa for well over 50 years. Cliff Vanderpool started the original business in 1955. Mike Vanderpool, Cliff's son, started his career under the watchful eye of his father. As the business grew and expanded, Mike took on more and more responsibilities in his father's business. In 1971 Mike started his own business which is what we now know as Vanderpool Construction, Inc. Just as Mike learned the ropes from his father, Mike's son Toby, and son-in-law, Justin have now taken on ownership and the business operations today.
