Steve is nothing short of AMAZING. He is creative, versatile and wonderful to work with. He has an eye for detail and design that is unlike anyone I have ever worked with. Steve has done so much for us. He designed and installed a custom fence around our entire yard (which required cement pilings to be drilled into the ground and other crazy support structures). He also built and designed our screened in porch and transformed our fireplace into a modern masterpiece. We also had him design plans for a deck and an addition that we never executed on. There is really nothing steve and his team can't do. To say I highly recommend Steve would be an understatement.
Steve is a wonderful craftsman, with the ability to get things done. We worked with Steve on a renovation, which involved the complete gutting of our house - moving of walls, vaulting ceilings, tile, kitchen, baths, exterior work, electric, plumbing, HVAc, everything. He designed and installed a custom staircase that everyone loves. Essentially, rebuilt the entire house with lots of style and utility. Steve got it done on schedule, and has a great eye for detail. His teams are neat and respectful, and not only do I highly recommend Steve, I know we will work with him again in the future.
What can I say, I've hired Steve Morris and his team for three Manhattan apartment renovations and three pieces of custom furniture at this point. there is a reason I keep coming back to him! Everything he has built is rock-solid and has beautiful design touches. We just finished our recent renovation and three guests have told us it should be in a magazine. He has a great eye for how everything will pull together, and he is just as helpful in telling us what NOT to do as in telling us what will look good. Just as importantly, he's ethical and will not price gouge you. He is sort of an artist that found a way to make a living by making art that you can live in. I wholeheartedly recommend him.
