Blue Mountain Woodworking began in the quaint pristine Blue Mountain region of eastern Pennsylvania in September of 1978. Richard L. Knecht founded the family run company with the basic principles of building and delivering the highest quality handmade and finished custom cabinetry to his customers at an affordable price. His wife Deb handled the office work along with sales and design. The business grew steadily and by late 1985 we had outgrown our rural shop outside of Kunkletown, PA. and moved to a larger facility in the center of town.
