They didn't die in vain, the Communist crawl across S.E Asia stopped with Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and others would have been next in line. In that regard Vietnam was a success, sadly costly but at least the "Communist crawl" ceased without more bloodshed. I served with the Royal Australian Air Force in Vung Tau.

Russ Pickering, one of my best friends from Officer Candidate School is on that wall. that wall is personal. Bob Berning, one of my own men who died in Cambodia, is on that wall. personal. "Soldiers Once. and Young", these young Americans gave their lives working to make the world a better place.

My Dad is on The Wall.there are so many brave soldiers that are a part of this moving tribute! But I also have seen how it helps the brave that were able to come home theres a lot of sorrow for them but a wonderful place to remember the fallen!
