The first to do so in the United States and on a large commercial scale, Delta Millworks began adding stunning textures and grain patterns to wood in 2007 through the use of fire. Delta Millworks is proud to hold the torch as the original purveyors of shou-sugi-ban in the United States. We take this honor seriously, and strive to continually refine our craft. The building's overall character considers seasonally modulating light patterns inside, as well as the long, crisp winter shadows that are cast from the building's edges outside.

Delta Millworks is a culmination of all of the lessons learned, techniques mastered, and clients serviced over our 35 years of history. You can see it in our technique, the quality of all of the wood we sell, and most of all, and in our opinion most importantly, in the way that we build relationships with our customers. Working with Delta Millworks is a balance between customized materials and streamlined processes from start to finish. Upon the first inquiry we make sure you are educated on your request and provide all the information needed to confidently place an order.

Our siding and paneling is not only beautiful and unique; it's made to last, low maintenance and made from only sustainably sourced materials. Whether you're looking for a sleek, simple finish, or something a little more rustic- we have the perfect options for your project. Our decking line is a fantastic alternative to tropical hardwoods, which are devastating to the environment. Modified woods such as Accoya, Kebony, and Thermo Ash and Poplar offer beautiful, warranty-backed options whether you choose to go with an unfinished option or one of our custom stains.

With over three decades of experimentation and innovation, Delta Millworks has gone from simply reclaiming wood, to leading the industry by using some of the best technologies in wood modification and tree farming practices available. We believe fervently in the future of wood, preserving the forests of our world, and providing pristine products to our clients. Sustainability in production is as equally valuable to us as the beauty and performance of our designs. Tropical hardwoods (specifically, Ipe), are popular for their performance in exterior applications, but are sourced from highly sensitive regions such as the Brazilian rainforest.

Delta Millworks continues to experiment with wood and introduces modified woods to our product offerings, applying unique finishes to highly sustainable products like Accoya and Kebony. Delta Millworks is proud to celebrate 35 years in business. We have shipped to 14 countries across the globe with that number growing each year. One look at our portfolio and it's easy to see why we are so honored to work the best architects, designers and builders in the industry. We are now looking to continue to shake up the wood industry by concentrating on the promising future of sustainably-sourced factory finished wood, while sticking to our roots and continuing to reclaim and repurpose.

THE RICH HISTORY OF THE AMERICAN CHESTNUT TREE The American chestnut tree has a history unlike any other tree in the world. Commonly reaching up to 100 ft in height by 10 ft in diameter and prized for the superior. When designing his new office, Matt Risinger, of Risinger Builders and Build Productions, chose "Char Beetle | Smoke", a sustainable, charred Beetle Kill Pine paneling option. Check out the video below to learn about how we created the dark, smooth. When designing Risinger Build's new office, interior designer Kim Lewis wanted the entryway to be dramatic and special to reflect Matt's overall branding.
