More than 90 years ago, my grandfather started his construction business in Hollywood. My father followed in his footsteps working with many of the most respected developers and architects in our industry. In turn, he taught me every aspect of the business - technical expertise, attention to detail, a deep understanding of architectural aesthetics and above all, the ability to deliver complex projects on time and on budget. As a third-generation contractor in Los Angeles, we have built long-standing relationships with a wide range of sub-contractors, project engineers, vendor resources and city building officials that enable us to complete builds efficiently and cost-effectively from pre-construction to completion.
The clean, straightforward modern architecture of this project featured an expansive, 3-foot separation between each unit, resulting in five free-standing buildings that capture light and air on three of four sides rather than the more traditional two. The design included 2-bedroom, 2-bath residences with private 2-car garages and a large roof deck/patio. A convertible guest room with folding and sliding door panels create a flexible living space. Among many special features were large rolling islands for movable food prep and serving.
