In 1999, The WB Moore Company of Charlotte, an electrical contracting firm in Charlotte, NC, created an in-house engineering department to support their construction needs. They recognized the benefit of investing engineering time at the beginning of a project to deliver a final product that exceeded their customer's expectations. Over time, this department grew from a support group within WB Moore into a stand-alone, fully licensed MEP engineering firm called WBM Group, PLLC. Initially, the engineering team was utilized to provide coordination drawings to the construction department.

We offer full mechanical HVAC and plumbing design services for your facility. We work with you from start to finish to ensure that you get a mechanical system that operates just the way you intended. In conceptual design, we provide you with several options and can help you weigh which one is right for you from both an operational and financial standpoint. As we move into design development towards the production of construction documents, we finalize design and provide your construction team with detailed drawings.

Our company began life as an engineering department within an electrical contractor so electrical engineering is one of our core competencies. Robert began his career with us in 1999. His experience in both electrical contracting and electrical design has given him a hands-on approach to engineering. This approach is the foundation of WBM Group, PLLC and it allows us to provide "real-world" solutions to our clients. Robert manages all engineering and office activities and has been instrumental in creating and maintaining the culture of WBM Group, PLLC. Mike began his career with us in 2007. His drive, creativity and willingness to go the extra mile guarantees that our clients get the best service possible.
