What a great little place to take your family. They have lifeguards on duty so you could drop of the kiddos and know they are safe. A very family fun place to hang out.
We have been members of the Texas Pool for 18 years. It is not perfect but it is wonderful in so many ways. My experience has always been that the pool is clean and well maintained. It is a large, cool, beautiful pool along a creek with beautiful trees. The lifeguards may be young but they are professionally trained, friendly, and work hard to keep all swimmers safe. The cost of membership is reasonable and when you join, you become part of a friendly, wholesome, diverse community. Our children are grown now but we will belong to this pool as long as we live in Texas.
We had a blast at the Texas pool! Love that they have nice grills and a lot of chairs. They always keep the volleyball net up too! We had a wonderful Sunday with the family. What a little hidden gem!
Today we are celebrating Texas Pool Dallas North Estates developer Herbert Hunt’s 92nd birthday. Our historian Janet Vermillion Moos has been honored to have lunch with him several times at Petro-Hunt. He is handsome, charming, and incredibly sharp, a brilliant and charismatic man.
