Cheryl Sment began her career path in nursing after graduating from Carroll University in 1987. She spent the next 17 years focusing on emergency care and critical care transport. She was also involved in Safe Kids of Southeast Wisconsin, working to prevent childhood accidental injuries, as well as working for the State of Wisconsin as a Lead Instructor for Child Passenger Safety Program educating Police, Fire, and Sheriff's Departments on correct installation of car seats.
