At Mountain Log and Timber, we specialize in logs and heavy timbers sourced from the Pacific Northwest. We offer logs and custom milled timbers for your project, as well as custom fabricated components for both residential and commercial construction.

With over 30 years of experience in this industry, we are uniquely qualified to handle any log or heavy timber project you may have. We partner with many terrific suppliers, subcontractors and artists to help ensure your project turns out great. Mountain Log Homes is owned and operated by Kevin Moehnke, a log crafter for over 30 years with hundreds of projects completed. We are more than just "log home" guys - most of the log builders are journeyman carpenters with a broad range of construction expertise.

Available in several styles of log or timber railings. We also offer several spindle options from log to powder coated aluminum or even metal art scenes. Custom built to your measured drawings and pictures. Rails and spindles are typically built from Douglas fir and posts are offered in both fir and Western Red Cedar. Column wraps offered in a variety of sizes and custom notched to accept your column profile. These are typically used for wrapping steel columns or timber columns that can not be removed for structural purposes.
