Maribeth and Britt Gardner started insulUSA in 2012 after coming to the realization that this business was a way they could work together, create opportunity and take care of people. From the first install in March of 2013 to the present time the goal has never changed; provide integrity in business, quality products and unparalleled service. Our commitment is to bring the world of insulation into the homes of families and businesses to ensure that they have the most efficient and economical means of keeping their structures energy efficient.

Cellulose insulation is one of the most sustainable insulation products available today. We utilize a low-dust formula, and the material is coated with a sodium polyborate flame resistance additive, giving this recycled paper product excellent perfomance. Cellulose, when used as a dry blown-in cellulose insulation option, has a great R-value of 3.75 per inch. The nature of blown-in cellulose insulation is that it will conform to voids and spaces easier than fiberglass, providing a better stop of air infiltration.

Filling the exterior walls of your home with adequate insulation is one of the easiest and least expensive ways to make your home more energy efficient. Most importantly, there are several insulation options available for walls - fiberglass batts, spray foam, and blown-in insulation. Each of these types of insulation have their different properties which may lead them to be better for certain projects, or goals. This is by no means a comprehensive list of wall insulation products, but rather a list of options we have available.

With recent increases in the cost of heating and cooling homes, many people are asking how they can save on their energy bills. If your home was built before 2000, chances are your home is under insulated. Attics can be blamed for as much as 30% of the total energy loss of your home - the best way to combat that is through proper attic insulation. Blown-in attic insulation is becoming more popular every year. It has many advantages over the traditional fiberglass batts or rolls, and installs quick and easy in most homes.

As a full service insulation contractor, insulUSA will partner with you to complete your project - large or small, in both the residential and commercial building industries. We take pride in the relationships we form that allow us to assist builders in achieving their goals. No matter what the goals: energy efficiency, utility savings, comfort, health or meeting code, our insulators are here to take of you. Our daily goals, put simply are: On time. Commercial buildings offer different challenges from residential buildings.

Fiberglass insulation is perhaps the most common insulation product in our part of the world. The fiberglass insulation material is composed of extremely fine glass fibers that are bonded together. Batts, like the picture shown, is a finished form of fiberglass insulation that comes in various widths, lengths, and thicknesses (r-value). In addition, they also come in a variety of facing material - kraft (paper), foil, and polypropylene as well as an option that is unfaced which has no substrate backing.

Spray Foam Insulation is the most efficient type of insulation. When correctly applied, spray foam insulation, will completely seal the building envelope, improving the structures overall efficiency. Additionally, spray foam insulation can protect your home from air and moisture intrusion, help as a sound barrier, and act as a pest inhibitor. It is used in residential, commercial, and industrial applications and is applied directly to all types of construction materials, from wood to steel to masonry and concrete.

As a full service insulation contractor, we offer attic, wall, and crawlspace insulation services for residential and commercial projects in Springfield, MO, Kansas City and the surrounding areas. Our insulation services range from additional attic insulation to full insulation installs for large multi-family projects. There are multiple insulation product options available for the various places throughout your home like attics, walls and crawlspaces. For instance, within walls, you could use fiberglass batt insulation, blown-in blanket (BIBS), or spray foam insulation.

Insulation plays a vital role in a structures overall energy efficiency. Taking the right steps to ensure your home is properly insulated and protected from air leakage goes a long way in reducing the overall energy impact, minimizing energy costs. The performance of insulation is traditionally measured in R-values. Higher R-values mean greater thermal resistance, or insulating power. Properly installed insulation helps reduce the thermal transfer of heat through walls, which lessens the impact outside air can make on the conditioned space of your home.

Acoustic Attenuation - a fancy word in our industry that means sound dampening. Homeowners may have rooms or areas where they would like to break/minimize the transfer of noise, and that’s easily achievable with the way the wall assembly is insulated.
