Glass Concepts, Inc. is a full service commercial glass and glazing contractor located in Frederick, Md. In 2005, GCI expanded by opening up an interior division (GCI Interiors). GCI interiors specializes in all-glass entrances, art glass, transaction tops, mirrors & small storefront revisions. GCI strives to build relationships with General Contractors and Vendors to provide first rate services from initial budgets through final installation. GCI takes pride in these relationships that result in projects being completed on time and on budget.
Shell Division offers fabrication and installation of various aluminum storefront, curtainwall and architectural window systems from major suppliers such as Kawneer, Traco, EFCO, & YKK-AP. GCI also partners with major glass and glazing suppliers such as JE Berkowitz, Solar Seal, Oldcastle, Viracon & UPG to ensure that the products being installed meet all specified and aesthetic requirements. In addition, GCI also offers installation of specialized products such as custom door hardware, automatic entrance doors, fire rated windows & doors, aluminum composite panels, glass canopies, glass railings and architectural louvers.
In 2005 Glass Concepts, Inc. opened a second division, GCI Interiors, to better serve the growing interior tenant fit-out market. GCI Interiors has grown to offer a wide range of products and services such as: All-Glass Entrances, All-Glass Walls, Back Painted Glass, Art Glass, Cable Glass, Glass Shelving, Glass Transaction Tops, Fitness Room & Restroom Mirrors. GCI Interiors also offers minor storefront revisions as well as the fabrications and installation of small storefront projects. GCI Interior Division is proud to offer a professional full time staff from Estimating / Sales, Drafting, Project Management & Installation that can handle any size project from restroom mirrors to a multi-story tenant fit-out.
